چکیده

Abstract Electrospun scaffolds with diameter fibers compared to those in the extracellular matrix were produced poly(lactic acid) (PLA) and non-denatured collagen from bovine dentin (DCol). DCol was obtained through an improved version of Longin method by acid erosion hydroxyapatite roots teeth a 2-year-old cattle. The characterized energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), carbon, nitrogen, oxygen found be main elements protein. Infrared analysis revealed typical bands at about 3300, 1631, 1539, 1234 cm −1 for amides A, I, II, III, respectively. Calorimetric infrared analyses also demonstrated that non-denatured. With scanning electron microscopy, it thinnest comparable when acetic (AAc) added solution PLA trifluoroethanol (TFE). had highest porosity, we considered they could beneficial growth cell. Human placenta-derived mesenchymal stem cells seeded onto electrospun scaffolds. After 24, 48 96 h culture, cell proliferation evaluated two independent strategies. In both assays, pl-MSCs capable adhering proliferating different It observed adhesion increased significantly containing collagen, although addition AAc slightly decreased this effect on all Graphical abstract

A Review on Commonly Used Scaffolds in Tissue Engineering for Bone Tissue Regeneration

Introduction: Bone is one of the tissues that have a true potential for regeneration. However, sometimes the bone defects are so outsized that there is no chance of bone self-repair and restoration or the damage is such that it is not possible to repair with medical or surgical interventions. In these situations, bone grafts are the treatment of choice, but due to several obstacles, including l...

Magnesium-containing nanostructured hybrid scaffolds for enhanced dentin regeneration.

Dental caries is one of the most prevalent chronic diseases in the United States, affecting 92% of adults aged 20-64 years. Scaffold-based tissue engineering represents a promising strategy to replace damaged dental structures and restore their biological functions. Current single-component scaffolding materials used for dental tissue regeneration, however, cannot provide the proper microenviro...

Injectable PolyMIPE Scaffolds for Soft Tissue Regeneration.

Injury caused by trauma, burns, surgery, or disease often results in soft tissue loss leading to impaired function and permanent disfiguration. Tissue engineering aims to overcome the lack of viable donor tissue by fabricating synthetic scaffolds with the requisite properties and bioactive cues to regenerate these tissues. Biomaterial scaffolds designed to match soft tissue modulus and strength...

Gene-enhanced tissue engineering for dental hard tissue regeneration: (2) dentin-pulp and periodontal regeneration

Potential applications for gene-based tissue engineering therapies in the oral and maxillofacial complex include the delivery of growth factors for periodontal regeneration, pulp capping/dentin regeneration, and bone grafting of large osseous defects in dental and craniofacial reconstruction. Part 1 reviewed the principals of gene-enhanced tissue engineering and the techniques of introducing DN...

Functionalized scaffolds to enhance tissue regeneration

Tissue engineering scaffolds play a vital role in regenerative medicine. It not only provides a temporary 3-dimensional support during tissue repair, but also regulates the cell behavior, such as cell adhesion, proliferation and differentiation. In this review, we summarize the development and trends of functional scaffolding biomaterials including electrically conducting hydrogels and nano-com...
